Smoking

According to Smoking; Act 295 (2006 Leg. Sess.) effective November 16, 2006, smoking is prohibited in all enclosed or partially enclosed areas, which are open to the public. Smoking will also be prohibited within twenty feet from entrances, exits, windows (that open) and ventilation intakes that serve an enclosed or partially enclosed area where smoking is prohibited. This law also includes the use of electronic smoking devices, or E-cigarettes, per Act 19 (HB 940).

Smoking will be prohibited within twenty feet from the building and where posted. Tenants, employees, visitors and all other persons on Central Pacific Plaza premises are permitted to smoke only in areas specifically designated and posted as smoking areas.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING allowed in the building, restrooms, public corridors, internal stairwells and parking garage. Smokers are encouraged to utilize the backside of the 5th floor Open Deck to comply with the State Smoking Law.

Signage is currently posted throughout the building to remind us all about the Hawaii Smoking Law. It is the Tenant’s responsibility to remind their employees and visitors of this law. Thank you for your cooperation.
